How can we help?

Each of you picks, privately and on your own phone, what you’re going through. Venna proposes one couple at a time, and a session only happens if all four of you say yes. It’s a one-hour voice call: the app asks the questions and gives each person a turn. Nobody uses real names, and anyone can leave at any moment.

Yes. Each partner has their own account on their own phone, so you can even be in two different places. You both need to be 18 or over, and you can be in one couple at a time.

Send your partner the invite from the app. They get Venna on their own phone, tap “My partner invited me” and enter the code. An invite lasts 7 days; if it runs out, send it again: the code stays the same.

On what you’re living. Each of you picks your topics privately, and Venna proposes a couple going through something similar, or who has been through it. Matching follows fixed rules, with no AI. Sensitive topics are only used with your explicit consent, and you’re never matched with a couple linked to you by an invitation.

Anyone can leave at any moment, with no reason needed, and the session then ends for all four. If someone leaves in the first 10 minutes, both couples get their credit back, whoever left. After 10 minutes, the session counts. If you use “Report and leave”, your credit always comes back.

In Venna, yes: after the session, choose “Talk with them again”. A new session still needs all four yeses. Outside Venna, no: nobody shares real names, places or ways to find each other, during or after a session. If you’d rather not meet them again, say “Never” after the session: you’ll never be proposed to each other again, and they’re not told.

Cancel more than 24 hours before and your credit comes back. Later than that, your credit is used and the other couple’s comes back; the first time it happens, yours comes back too. If the other couple isn’t there 10 minutes after the start, or anyone leaves in the first 10 minutes, your credit comes back. If you report and leave, it always comes back. If a connection drops, the session pauses for everyone for up to 2 minutes; if the person can’t come back, these same rules apply.

No. Credits never expire, free ones included. They’re shared by both partners, have no cash value and can’t be given to another couple.

Purchases go through Apple on iPhone and Google Play on Android, so they handle refunds: on iPhone at reportaproblem.apple.com, on Android through Google Play. If you live in the European Union or the UK, you can also withdraw from Venna Unlimited within 14 days, as long as your first covered session hasn’t started. You’re refunded minus the share of the month already used: write to us.

Only with a couple you know. While neither of you has ever had a session on Venna, your first session booked under “A session with a couple you know” is free. Each couple is checked on its own: if the other couple has already had a session, they use a credit or Venna Unlimited as usual. It’s never free with a couple Venna matches you with, an experienced couple or a journey step: those use credits or Venna Unlimited, and there’s no free trial. The details are in our terms of use.

Your partner sees your couple’s shared information and shared summaries. Never your boundaries, your private notes or your check-in answers.

Calls aren’t recorded unless all four of you agree, and no AI listens. The only recorded sessions are ones an experienced couple offers, marked “On the record”, which each of the four accepts separately. Afterwards, anyone can refuse within 7 days, and the recording is then deleted. If nobody refuses, the experienced couple receives it and may publish it.

In the app: Us › Privacy & data › Download my data, and we email you one file within 48 hours. To delete everything: Us › Privacy & data › Delete my account. For anything else, write to privacy@getvenna.com.

After a session: in the app, open “Sessions”, choose the session, then “Report”. During a session: “Report and leave” ends it for everyone, and your credit always comes back. A person reads every report within 24 hours, and you can ask for a review of any decision.

Everyone accepts four agreements before a session: speak from experience, not advice; listen to the end; keep it anonymous; and don’t judge. More on our safety page.

Venna is in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese (Brazil), and you’re matched with couples who speak a language you both chose. On this website, use the language menu at the top of any page.

Either of you can leave your couple at any time in the app. Shared summaries are then deleted for both of you. Leaving doesn’t cancel a Venna Unlimited subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.

In the app: Us › Privacy & data › Delete my account. Your account is erased within 30 days. Unused credits you bought go to your partner; with no partner, they’re lost. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel Venna Unlimited: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.

Any couple can invite another couple with their couple code: in the app, open “Us”, then “Invite a couple”. Once the invited couple’s first paid session, with credits they bought or Venna Unlimited, passes 10 minutes, you each get one free credit. The invitation only pays if their first session isn’t the free one with a couple you know.

When the invited couple’s first paid session passes 10 minutes, if their free first session with a couple you know wasn’t used up before. It’s added by itself. A couple can be rewarded for up to 10 invitations a year, and free credits never expire.

No. You’re never matched with a couple linked to you by an invitation, and neither couple learns who the other meets.

For friends or family: in the app, open “Us”, then “Invite a couple”, and share your link under “A session with a couple you know”. Nothing is booked until all four of you say yes, and Venna Unlimited covers these sessions. For an experienced couple you know, for example from their podcast: request them from their public page at their open times, and you stay anonymous to them. Your credits are held, not spent, until they answer within 48 hours, and come back if they decline or don’t answer.

Venna invites couples on a topic they lived, after sessions with good private feedback or through a creator partnership. Both partners must accept. If you think you’d be a good fit, tell us about yourselves.

Experienced couples have been through your topic and are paid for their time. They set their own price, from 2 credits a session, and keep 80% of what each credit brought in. You always see the price before you accept, and Venna Unlimited doesn’t cover these sessions.
